If you are looking for a delicious Valentine’s Day treat to make with your kiddos, look no further! This is probably the easiest most delicious recipe to celebrate the holiday and let your littles help out in the kitchen. And they are great to share with family and friends!
I usually make these every year but this time, the kids were at the perfect age to help and it was so fun because they were able to take part in every step. I think we started a new holiday tradition!
What you need:
- 2 Different kinds of Hershey’s Kisses, for an especially festive look
- Small Pretzels (that lay flat like these)
- Valentine’s Day Themed M&Ms
- Baking Tray
The first step is laying out all the pretzels on a baking tray.
Then, unwrap all the kisses and place on top of the pretzels.
Note: It’s probably better to put the white chocolate ones on their own tray, because they melt faster than the plain milk chocolate ones.
Throw the baking tray in the oven for 1 1/2 – 2 mins until they are just about to melt.
When you take them out of the the oven, they are ready to place an M&M right on top, pushing the kisses down so that they stick to the pretzels when they harden back up.
Place them in the fridge to cool down, and then they are ready to package in whatever you like!
I found these randomly on a trip to the Dollar Store and thought it would be cute for something. They work perfectly!
