Calling all animal lovers! The LunaSea Alpaca Farm is an amazing experience and Rylee (my little animal lover) celebrated her 9th birthday there this past weekend. What a different and amazing experience it was. We’ve been wanting to check it out for a while now and it’s on my bucket list for this year. While we were thinking of something fun and different to do for her birthday, it came up and it was the perfect way to experience it.
It was a beautiful day to head out to the farm. A bit windy for decorating for a party, but I did not complain at all. I was worried it was going to be too hot, but the shady patio area with the breeze made the day really pleasant.
The owners of the farm, King and Lucy Lee were so amazing with the kids. They started off giving them a run down of the rules of the farm while letting the kids feed the chickens.
When everyone arrived, the tour began, and we visited the male llamas and alpacas first. Rylee fell in love with a black llama named Winston.
Then came an experience we’ll never forget. We got to kiss a llama!
She was the most gentle and sweet girl and everyone had a chance to “kiss” her. It was amazing and thankfully she liked us all and never spit at us!
The tour concluded with a visit to the female llamas and some of their babies, including a tiny 6 month old.
Everyone had such a wonderful time learning about the llamas and alpacas, and of course how to tell the difference between the two.
All this excitement brought on an appetite, so we all headed to the gift shop, of course, to wash our hands before pizza and cake.
I have to say, Publix nailed the Llama themed cake! It was perfect and I couldn’t have designed it better myself.
Also, having the cupcakes was so much easier to serve at the farm as well.

The kids played around on the farm after cupcakes, visiting with the llamas a bit longer and playing tag. Before departing everyone got a fun party favor, complete with a llama necklace and bracelet. Now they can remember this day forever!
It was a llama fun!
We opened presents when we got home with the family, and Rylee was on top of the world. Thank you so much LunaSea and everyone who joined us for this amazing day, for an unforgettable birthday celebration.
