Down a hidden country road, right outside of Winter Garden, is a place called Bella Collina—an escape to what looks and feels like a quaint Italian village, atop a hill over looking the water. I had no idea this place existed, in the city of Clermont, until I visited there this passed weekend with my girlfriends for a full day at The Spa. It was in celebration of the February birthdays, mine being on the 5th and my friend Kala’s that day.

A spa day to celebrate a birthday is always something to be excited about. And when it’s at a luxury Italian themed, resort-style community, it’s mandatory to stay and enjoy the amenities all day long.

When we first arrived, we toured the property a bit on our search for the spa (and coffee!), and it was an absolutely gorgeous day. A little chilly but the view was amazing. You can’t beat that blue sky!

It really brought me back to my trip to Italy two years ago!

We set up the appointments in two groups so we could enjoy the spa amenities and our champagne while the other group was still massaging. There was a super cute atrium area with a waterfall wall to hang out in.

After massages in a gorgeous private room upstairs, we head down to the 19th Hole for some lunch on the terrace.

Our plan was to hang by the pool for the rest of the day—with no plan to head home at any particular time, so husbands were not expecting us. The pool was so beautiful but it was just a little too chilly out for us Florida girls! We opted to hang by the fire pit instead as we watched a team set up for a beautiful wedding (which we did contemplate crashing) and sang with the DJ as he tested the music.

We are definitely planning a trip back here in the summer. That pool is calling our names!

Who knew such an incredible day trip at the spa was right around the corner from my house! This is definitely a hidden secret in the area and I cannot wait to go back this summer.
