Family Photos Recap + Gallery

As promised, I’m finally sharing the full recap and gallery from our 2022 family photoshoot. It was our first one ever. We decided to get photos done this year, well actually it was last year, but I had such a difficult time deciding on a photographer and making the commitment. More details on that here. But I am thrilled to be sharing this year’s family photos recap with you on the blog! And you also get exclusive access to the full gallery of photos that I chose. The location was Lake Luisa, in Clermont Florida. They have many different scenes like a lakefront and a forest, but we went with a lovely field. The kids went first and boy did they ham it up for the camera. I loved that our photographer gave us time with each of them, too.

Reece was first.

I absolutely love the one of Reece and I looking at each other. My heart!

Rylee was up next.

I can’t get enough of how good they were during the shoot and how actually excited they were to take photos.

We had so much fun with different poses with the whole family.

I loved how all the colors came together perfectly, with the scenery and wardrobe.

And the timing was great, too, right at sunset. I love the glow!

The one below one is one of my favorites. I love how she captured all of us in different ways, but all together. So sweet!

And to my surprise, Brett and I also got featured, which I didn’t think of or expect, but glad we did. Because Brett and I rarely ever get photos together, and they are hardly ever good. So this was so worth it!

And because I always imagined what fun it would be to run through a field and capture it on film, I requested we try it with the kids to see how it would come out. They of course loved it, and I love how it came out. The pure joy on their faces is just amazing.
