Happy Friday! This week it came quickly after the Labor Day holiday. I hope everyone had a great and productive week and have plans for a fun (or relaxing) weekend. Soccer starts this weekend for us and I feel like it’s been so long since we’ve been at the fields! This is the first year since Rylee was three years old that she won’t be playing. It’s bittersweet because I know she loves dance and chose to focus on that, but we’ve been watching her play for so long and met so many amazing people from her team. I’ll miss watching her but I love watching her dance just as much. It will be really nice to only go to the soccer fields for one game though! Now on to this week’s Fab Five picks!
1. Sheer Mineral Sunscreen Lotion
I was looking for a natural and safe sunscreen product to use daily on my face that wouldn’t break the bank. I found Babo Botanicals brand, which is EWG certified, on Amazon, and I like it so far. Its 50 SPF which is great and although it has a slight white cast, it really isn’t that bad and it rubs in really well.
2. Olive & June Nails
I am obsessed with these nails. They are like a professional gel manicure in a box! I’ve been having so much fun picking my colors every other week and updating my manicure, from the luxury of my own home! They really stay on for a solid 1-2 weeks, are comfortable and I love how they look. I am so sold on saving money and time by not going to the nail salon, which was always such a chore! Target sells some styles in the store, but the Olive & June site has so many fun styles, that’s usually where I purchase mine.
3. 300 Piece Puzzles
Medley Puzzle | Campside Puzzle | Tropics Puzzle
Our entire family, include grandparents, have been obsessed with puzzles lately. We discovered that 300 piece puzzles are the perfect size. And I have to say, during a stressful week, sitting down after work and working on a puzzle is the most mind relaxing thing. We usually start on a puzzle and will work on it little by little throughout the week. Just 10 minutes or so of working on it helps me clear my mind and ease stress. We’ve been really into it!
4. Target Shoes Haul
Nude Pumps | Mule Flats | Strappy Heels
I snagged a few pairs of shoes from Target recently that I have been eyeing because they were all on 20% or clearance. I love nude shoes for some reason, maybe that they can go with practically anything., I was also looking for a few styles that could be used for weekend/work and love the designer-like look of these choices.
5. Outdoor/Family Weekend
This past weekend was a blast, spent with great family in the great outdoors! We spent Saturday with Brett’s family in Clearwater and the kids got to play with their cousins which was great. And Brett and I snuck out for a nice long bike ride on the Pinellas Trail. Then on Sunday, we headed back home where my Brother, Will, and Ariana were already there with my parents. We finally made it to Wekiwa Springs in the afternoon after some people had left the park, and it was such a beautiful day! It was such a perfect weekend!
Thanks for stopping by this Friday, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
