It’s another Fab Five Friday, folks, and I am ready to weekend! This week flew by and was super productive. Lots going on and it’s very exciting. We got the final phase of our backyard project scheduled for later this month and I am waiting in anticipation for it to get completed so we can pull everything together. I also registered Reece for a flag football season which he is stoked about. Got the kid’s summer schedules all planned out, worked on Rylee’s birthday party plans and sent out invitations. Felt really good about delivering projects at work and preparing for next school year with my position on the school’s PTO board, so lots of planning there. And we’re going to go see the middle school’s play, Beauty and the Beast, this evening. They do such a great job with their productions. And I should drop the mic right there, but we’ve got a Fab Five Friday to get through!
Camp Yoga Florida

I had the most amazing experience at Camp Yoga this passed weekend! If you haven’t already, check out my recaps from day one, and day two, and look out for the recap of day three coming soon!
I’ve always wanted to travel for wellness and it’s such an interesting concept for me. When you look at some of the retreats out there, they all sounds amazing, but it can be a pretty pricey vacation. This all-inclusive 2-night stay at a campground in Florida was a really great and affordable way to travel for wellness and meet some amazing people. Camp Yoga does travel to other cities, which is exciting to think about when planning another wellness trip (maybe somewhere with mountains) and having the chance to go in Florida gave me a great sense of what it’s all about. Check out my recap posts and let me know in the comments if you’d ever do something like this. I would love to hear your thoughts!
The God of the Woods Liz Moore

I am so curious to hear people’s thoughts on this one! When I started it I was not sure what all the hype was about it. I feel like I’ve been seeing it everywhere, and the wait at the library was insane, but I could not connect with any of the characters. It kept me intrigued and I did enjoy the ending, but please, someone let me know what you think about this one! Thank you.
Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins

So now I am on to Sunrise on the Reaping, which is this month’s book club pick, and just came out. It follows Haymitch’s Hunger Games experience. So far I really like it! I feel like Suzanne Collins is under a lot of pressure to put out good books because of all the movie deals, but unfortunately I did not love the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes at all. Maybe it fell flat for me because I really hate President Snow and so learning about how he became such a horrible person when I already know that he is, wasn’t really enjoyable. But so far, with this one, as I love Haymitch, and she’s already started to bring back some favorite characters from the original books, it’s definitely a lot better so far.
Rylee Q3 Honor Roll

Another quarter completed, another Honor Roll Ceremony attended. We were so honored to see Rylee walk across the stage again this week for the Q3 school year! Go Rylee, girl!
Reece’s School pictures

So Reece is going to hate me for sharing this but I have to. We got his school pictures this week and I always love seeing how they change from school year to school year and even from one quarter to the next. He at least said this is one of the best so far, so hopefully he doesn’t get too mad at me. But look at his cute little face! Ok I am done.
