Fab Five Friday #83

Happy Friday! This week has definitely flown by. Let’s jump into a quick Fab Five Friday with highlights from the week!

Our kids’ Spring Break starts this weekend and it’s usually pretty busy the week before vacation, as we are all preparing at work and at home for our family vacation. This year, we are going on a family cruise for Spring Break—a whole family affair with both sets of grandparents, and my Brother and Ariana. It’s definitely been at the top of all of our minds as we’ve been packing and planning all the details of the trip. We are so excited to get this party started.

1. Rylee’s Second Dance Comp

Fab Five Friday - Dance Competition

Rylee finished her second dance comp of the season this past weekend and it was such an amazing experience. Her team’s routines have gotten even better than the first one and it’s been so much fun watching all their hard work pay off. This time her Runaway group routine won first place and took home the regional champion title! We are so proud! Go Rylee!

Being a dance mom is definitely a new experience, but I’m glad to have some good friends at the studio with me going through the same thing as we learn the ropes of all this dance competition stuff. I was a dancer growing up and I remember the fun of the competition life, but it definitely feels different being on the parent side of it all this go around. I love it though and I can really tell that Rylee loves it, too.

2. Reece’s 3rd Grade Field Trip

Fab Five Friday - Reece Field Trip

This week I had the privilege of chaperoning Reece’s third grade field trip to SeaWorld. Watching Reece with his classmates is always so much fun and interesting since it’s a side of him that I rarely get to see. I don’t get to volunteer often at the school, so I always try to chaperone his big field trips each year. It was something I didn’t get to do with Rylee until later in her elementary years, so I really try to make it work now, and the memories are priceless.

I also love the opportunity to get to know the parents more, and put faces to names of the kids he talks about from his class. SeaWorld was a crazy trip, but I love that park because of all the shows and versatility of attractions. I have to say, I was absolutely spent afterwards. I laid down on the couch when I got home and couldn’t move until I napped for 15 mins!

3. Spring Break 2025 Kick Off

Fab Five Friday - Spring break

To kick off the Spring Break madness, the kids had off today and so their fun has started! Our neighbor friends had already left for the break so the kids were stuck at home while we worked. But I loved how they hung together and totally started the Spring Break vibes. I noticed them outside while I was working at home and snuck outside to I snap a pic. Brett got the music pumping out there and with their matching floats, I am not going to lie, I was pretty jealous of their relaxing vibes! But I knew our fun was soon approaching so I was just happy to see them hanging out with each other and enjoying some rays.

4. Luggage Tags for Cruise Baggage

These luggage tags meant specially for cruise baggage are amazing. I had never seen them before, but we got them for our cruise this year and I love them. The cruise lines usually make you print off your luggage tags and staple them to your bags, but they are just pieces of paper, so I love this idea to protect the paper tag and secure it to your baggage. So convenient!

5. Travel Wallet

Another one of my favorite travel items, is this wallet that I use to carry all of our important documents and keep them in a safe and easy to grab place. I use this travel wallet everytime I travel and have to bring lots of documents, especially for the entire family. It holds all 4 of our passports, additional papers, cards/IDs and cash. I love it! It really makes it so convenient to have them all in one place with all the craziness of checking in and boarding. Highly recommend!

Thanks so much for stopping by this edition of Fab Five Friday have an amazing weekend!
