Happy Friday! Welcome to this week’s Fab Five Friday! A collection of highlights from the week and a reflection on what’s going on with us. It’s the week before Thanksgiving! So there’s lots of prep and thinking through what we need to make the holiday special with the family. I also had my work potluck in the office this week which was so great to see people, especially the ones from out of town.

1. Book Club Meeting

Book Club Girls Group

Number one on the list for this week was our amazing Book Club meeting to review the November’s pick, No Two Persons. It was probably one of the best meetings yet. That’s when the conversation flows so naturally and you actually hit on every single question on the list without even reading them. We covered so much and had such great conversation. And it’s so awesome when someone else opens your eyes to something you didn’t see. So much fun! Look out for the next book pick being posted soon!

2. Florida Weather

Florida Weather

How about this weather! Am I right? This is cold for us here Floridians, but I’m enjoying the change. I am hoping it will last through the week so we can hang outside for happy hours during the break.

3. Pool Progress

Pool Progress November

A little snapshot of the backyard! Not too much movement this week, but there is a pool in the ground and the dirt has been cleared out. We’re looking forward to the next stage!

4. Funny Calendar Notes

Funny Calendar Reece

Just had to share Reece’s calendar notes for this week. It cracked me up. We’ve been using this calendar at our organization station to help us keep track of all of Reece’s third grade homework assignments, and I guess one of the nights when he was crossing off his list, he decided to write out his week. If your having a hard time reading it is says:

  • Sunday: BAD
  • Monday: Boring
  • Tuesday: Books (he gets to go to the school library this day!)
  • Wednesday: Short day
  • Thursday: Getting ready for Friday
  • Friday: Happy happy happy
  • Saturday: Play with friends, also soccer games and soccer tournaments (like this weekend! )

I hope that made you laugh a little.

5. Crew Socks

Target Crew Socks Fab Five Friday

So I’ve been eyeing this trend at the gym, and wasn’t sure if I could pull it off. I found these adorable black and white crew socks from Target and grabbed them when they were on sale. I am starting to like the look. And with this colder weather, it makes so much more sense!

Happy Fab Five Friday! Thanks for stopping by.
