Happy Friday! I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween! The night always goes so fast, but I absolutely love this holiday. I love the spookiness and the dressing up, I love how happy the kids are and how happy it makes everyone. It’s so much fun! And on that note, I’m kicking off this week’s Fab Five Friday with the number one highlight of the week:
1. Halloween!
This year the kids were Squishmallows (you know, like the popular pillows kids are obsessed with) so I decided to go back to a tried and true witch costume. And brett was a black cat. If you didn’t see it yet, you have to check out my Insta Stories before it’s too late and watch the kids song and dance they came up with—and performed at every single house in the neighborhood. It was epic.
2. Soccer Tournament Champs
Last weekend was spent in Tampa at the Monster Mash Soccer Tournament. It was a Halloween themed event, which was so much fun, with a Haunted House and costume contest. The boys played so amazingly, I love watching them. And they took home the first place trophy! Definitely a highlight to kick off this week.
3. Rylee’s Beta Club Induction
This week I also attended Rylee’s induction into the National Beta Club at her school. I had never heard of it before this year, but learning more about it made me beam with pride as she walked across the stage to accept her certificate and pin. Shaping the next generation of leaders over here. What an honor!
4. Who’s Excited for the Warped Tour?!
This actually happened last week, but I’m still so excited about it! We got our tickets to the 30th anniversary of the warped tour coming to Orlando. I am so stoked to find out who is playing and to relive my younger years with the music that shaped us. I will be stalking the socials as the bands start to get announced. Cannot wait!
5. Backyard / Pool Progress
This week marks the start of some serious progress on the backyard/pool project. Our old porch was torn down. It already makes a huge difference! The house feels so much brighter and it feels huge out there. Excited to see the next phase. The pool should be going in within the next two weeks!
