Happy Friday, friends! It’s been a whirlwind of a week, two weeks actually. We are two weeks into the school year and it’s really been non-stop. Especially with Brett traveling this week, I am not really sure where the time went, or where I am, but I do know it’s Friday, and that means it’s time to get into the Fab Five!

1. Reece’s First Soccer Tournament

Last weekend was Reece’s first tournament of the season. They played so hard and it paid off! We won both games on Saturday and were invited back on Sunday, making it all the way to the championship! And won! It was so exciting, or should I say nerve wracking! But it was such a great experience and I am so glad they played so well. We were very proud parents this past weekend!

2. Fit 2 Run / On Cloud Running Shoes

I finally found my new pair of running shoes after a very pleasant experience at the Fit2Run in Winter Garden. I have been guilty of buying shoes online, thinking they would work for me, but I think it’s really important now to invest in good shoes because it can really make or break a good run or workout. So after returning a pair of running shoes, I finally made it into the Fit2Run to try on various shoes to see what will work for me. I decided on these On Cloudrunner shoes and they have been amazing and so comfy so far.

3. August Book Club Pick

Delilah Doesn't Care Book

August’s pick was an unexpectedly delightful story that I just couldn’t put down. It’s a series, that doesn’t need to be read in order, and it was a really enjoyable read. Definitely different than my usual picks but it was a quick and fun read.

4. Creativity inc.

I read Creativity, Inc. for work but I keep thinking about how inspiring it was. If you are a Pixar or Disney fan, you would love it. It’s about the founder of Pixar and his journey of creating the legendary company we know and admire today. Filled with fun stories about the creation of our favorite films and how he builds an amazing culture. It was a very inspiring read, especially for anyone in a creative industry.

5. Abercrombie Kids Jeans

We love abercrombie kids, and Rylee’s entire middle school wardrobe is pretty much abercrombie kids, so anytime there is a sale, we try to grab things because the quality is just so great. We noticed that the reviews on some of their jeans were of women fitting into the larger sizes of girls jeans, so we decided to give it a try. These jeans were on sale for $19.99, which would never happen at Abercrombie! They are size 15/16 and fit really well! This is a 90’s style high rise jean and super stretchy. Why have I never thought of this before! Genius!

Thank you for stopping by this Fab Five Friday! Let me know in the comments below anything on your fab five list. Would love to hear from you!
