Happy Fab Five Friday! Welcome to this week’s round up. I hope you had a wonderful week. I also really want to hear from others on if this year is flying by for them, or if it’s a symptom of getting older that each year just flies by quicker and quicker. I’m really in shock that it’s already March. This week is going down in my memory as accomplishing some new life milestones; Rylee was accepted into the magnet program at her MIDDLE school and Reece will be travelling to his first competitive soccer games of the season this weekend. And with that said, let’s get into some more highlights for this week!
1. March Book Club Read – Lessons in Chemistry
It’s a new month and that means, a new book! I’m so excited to read Lessons in Chemistry. I’ve heard so many good things about it, and there is a series on it too. Should be a great read!
2. Apple Air Tag
I know these have been around for a while, but a friend of mine told me she uses them for her kiddos and I thought it was brilliant! With the kids being more independent now, and the world just being crazy, I snagged a few to use for the kids for situations when I let them head to a friends house in the neighborhood, or for when we go to theme parks, etc. My piece of mind is thanking me!
3. Apple Air Tag Bands
The Airtags are so small and can be slipped in anywhere really, but there are all kinds of straps and keychains on Amazon for them for attaching to different things. This is so cool! And Reece was so excited to wear his. He really wanted a green one, and so Rylee got her choice of rainbow.
4. We’ve Joined the Electric Car Community!
Brett recently traded in his lease for the new Hyundai Ioniq 6, a fully electric car! I’m really excited to be a part of the EV community and contributing to a healthy Earth. It’s actually one of the cooler ones I’ve seen on the road, so we’re excited.
5. Taking my Bestie out to Dinner last weekend!
My girlfriend Loreyn was in town last weekend, and I was so excited to have a night with her (and the husbands) without kiddos to show her around town and have a nice, much needed, night out. We went to the famous Chef’s Table in Winter Garden, and enjoyed the full experience. A chef’s three-course menu and wine pairings that were so delicious! (Definitely a great time if you’re trying to impress some out-of-towners.) So much fun!
Thank you for stopping by on this Fab Five Friday!
