TGIF! It’s Fab Five Friday time and I am so excited! This week was busy but a good one and it went by really fast. Kids’ fundraisers, in office days, field trips, and so so much more!
1. The Girl with the Louding Voice by Abi Daré
Up first on this Fab Five Friday is my latest read, The Girl with the Louding Voice. On the Book Club list for February, I just finished it and it was so moving. I listened to the audiobook version and the narrator did such an amazing job. I really felt the emotion in her voice, it felt so real and I would tear up multiple times at how deeply and strongly her story was expressed. Such an intense story and really inspiring as well. I definitely recommend this one.
2. Greenlights
This was another really quick read, again the audiobook was amazing because Matthew McConaughey narrates it himself, his impressions are spot on and his reactions are classic. Hearing him laugh to himself was great and his stories are ridiculous. Definitely an interesting perspective if you are looking for a bio to read.
3. Winter Garden Music Fest
Winter Garden Music Fest is this weekend and the weather is supposed to be amazing. We are really looking forward to checking it out and spending sometime downtown, out and about with friends.Should be a good time! Check out the line up here!
4. Field Trip with Reece to Wild Florida
I had the chance to take off work this week to go on my first ever field trip with Reece. He was so excited that I was able to come and we had such an amazing time together! So thankful I had the opportunity to make it happen! I had never been on an airboat ride before, and it was incredible! I would definitely do that again and highly recommend.
5. Reece Turning 8
Reece turned 8 two weeks ago now, but I wanted to highlight him and his special blog post interview that went up. He really is an amazing little boy and I am so incredibly lucky he is mine. I love this kid and he is growing so fast, I don’t like it!
Well thank you so much for stopping by for this Fab Five Friday! I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and say hi if you are downtown this weekend at the music festival!
