Happy Friday Friends! Did anyone put their Christmas trees up yet? Or are you like me and still have your Halloween decorations out? Either way, it’s another Fab Five Friday and there is time to do both this weekend! Now let’s get into this week’s Fab Five!
1. Goodr Sunglasses
I hadn’t heard about this brand of glasses before I ran the Clearwater Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon, but they are great! Super lightweight, budget friendly, and they are made of this material with a special grip, meant for running, biking, or other activity so they don’t slip off your head. Plus they have so many styles, from sporty to everyday. Definitely check them out!
2. Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
I absolutely love this stuff. Vital Proteins is pretty well-known by now, but I have to mention it this week as I am really noticing a difference after using it consistently for a few weeks. I put a scoop in my coffee every morning and I’ve noticed a huge difference in my hair and joints especially. I swear I can feel my hair thicker and there’s new hair growing. I have really, really thin hair, but I feel a difference, its crazy! So I’m going to keep using it for sure.
3. Bondi Sands Gradual Tanning
It’s winter time and sweaters and jackets are in style, but it’s Florida, so let’s get real I still want to be tan! So there hasn’t been much time by the pool and I was feeling very pale so I’ve been using the gradual tanning foam and absolutely love it! It’s not a crazy tan look because it works over time, so it gives just the right amount of color. The foam looks to be sold out everywhere, but I found this lotion version of it at Target that sounds really cool, too, since it’s moisturizing.
4. Old Navy Sweatshirt
I am absolutely loving this sweatshirt… for when it gets cold of course. It’s very comfortable and I love the look. It reminds me of the jackets at Lululemon, but the price is much less.
5. Gift Giving Tip
There is something about gift giving that feels really good. I feel like I always want to give, but I miss the mark, either forgetting dates all together, or not giving myself the time to curate something so meaningful and special. But I found that even the simplest of gestures can go a long way! So I wanted to share some simple things to do to make someone’s day special in a pinch:
- First, put important dates in your calendar and make them repeat every year, so helpful. Very easy start 🙂
- Always have notecards on hand. These blank cards from Target are so pretty and can be used as a thank you, birthday or thinking of you card. It’s great to have them on hand so it’s easy to share a gift without having to run out somewhere.
- I also always stock up on cute cards from Aldi or other places if they are on sale, and keep them in a storage box for when I need them, it’s so helpful!
- It’s great if you can think of something that is so unique to the person you are giving it to, I love that. But sometimes time gets the best of us, and let’s get real, Amazon is great, but even they can’t help us when it’s down to the wire. Easy go tos for me are a cute bottle of champagne or a Starbucks gift card. They are so easy to have on hand, or grab as they are on sale so you always have something to gift when you need to.
- I’m always down for Coffee or Champagne, so these gifts are 100% appreciated in my book!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a Fab Five Friday and an even more fab weekend!
