Happy Friday! Welcome to this week’s Fab Five Friday! Phew did this week fly by! We just got back from a long weekend trip to Massachusetts to a ski lodge near Brett’s NY office, as a birthday getaway for Reece and I. It was a blast (more to come) but getting back into the week has made it go by so quickly. Brett is back today and there was a lot going on with the kids’ schedules so it definitely kept me busy this week. I’m so thankful my parents live close by because I seriously don’t know how I would do it without them. They helped so much by jumping in to pick up the kids and take them to a few activities. Speaking of a busy week, I still have not had a chance to go to the grocery store, or even find focus time to order groceries at all!
Which is the perfect segue into my first Fab Five of this week.
1. Factor Meals
I had placed an order at Factor before we left for the trip and it was amazing to come home and actually have food to eat for lunch every day. I probably would have ended up eating chips and salsa or Ramen if I didn’t have these, and I was thanking my past self profusely for ordering before the trip. My favorite of the week was the Jalepeño-Lime Cheddar Chicken. It was so yummy! I’ve been ordering for a few weeks now and it’s especially convenient in situations like this where you know you have a busy week and need to save time.
If you are interested in trying this meal plan service, here’s my personal link, which will get you up to $150 off your first boxes!
2. Super Bowl Commercial Bingo Printable
Brett and I are so excited for the Super Bowl game this Sunday! We usually host a little get together at our place to celebrate and one of my favorite activities to include in the festivities is this commercial bingo game. Everyone has fun doing it, even the kids! The commercials are already so good during the game and this makes you pay even more attention to them! It’s seriously so much fun! These printables are super easy too, you purchase on Etsy and instantly download, then print them out for game day.
3. Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover
Colleen Hoover, you have done it again! I just started my second Colleen Hoover book, Reminders of Him, and I’m already hooked! I literally just started reading it Wednesday and already 61 pages in! There’s so many things I need to know about these characters! Can’t wait till later tonight to read more of it!
4. Kids’ Reports Cards
The kids recently received their report cards and we checked them together this week. Rylee made it on the Principal’s Honor Roll (straight A’s) three quarters in a row and I am so proud of her! And Reece has been doing so well in first grade, he’s learning so much! These kids totally rock and I just needed a little proud mama bragging moment this Friday!
5. Valentine’s Day Treats
I love this time of year and making this special Valentine’s Day treat! It’s so easy to make and it’s a fun activity to do with the kids. Plus it’s a great little gift idea to give friends, family and teachers, without breaking the bank. We love making it every year and I’m looking forward to making it this weekend too!
I hope you all have a Fab Friday and thanks for stopping by! Would love to hear from you in the comments below! What are you up to this weekend!?
Happy Valentine’s Day!
