Fab Five Friday 86

TGIF! What a whirlwind of a week! A lot on the list between work, kids, and nightly events but you know what they say: “an object in motion stays in motion” and so we are just gonna keep on rolling with it regardless of how exhausting it all is. But that’s what coffee’s for, right? This Fab Five Friday came so quick this week and I am so ready to weekend. So let’s get into it!

1. Handmaid’s Tale

Fab Five Friday - Handmaids tale

I know that Handmaid’s Tale came out a bit ago, but we finally got our girl group together to watch the first two episodes of the season, and WOW! It did not disappoint. We’ve been huge fans of this show for a long time and have been waiting for this moment. It’s the last season of the show so we’ll all be talking about it for a while I am sure. If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s on Hulu, and you should definitely check it out.

2. Flag Football Opening Night

Flag Football Practice

We’ll be under the Friday Night Lights tonight watching Reece’s first flag football games (there’s a double header tonight.) He just started practicing and it’s actually been really fun to watch him and his team play. They are really good, so I hope Reece can learn a lot from them. He’s also shown a lot of discipline in learning the ropes from the coach and his teammates and I can already see the growth he’ll have from this experience, and hopefully he can bring that to his soccer team as well.

3. Reece & Friends at School

Reece and laney at School

I was sent this photo from a good friend this week of our kiddos at school. They do this every year where they pick an important historical figure and present their projects to the whole school. Laney was giving a presentation about Helen Keller and Reece stopped by to hear it. This was captured and I thought it was amazing, so had to share. I love getting to see these little tidbits of them at school.

4. Epic Universe

Epic Universe

Universal’s Epic Universe opens in May, and I was lucky enough to get to experience a little bit of it beforehand. It was incredible! I don’t want to give too much away, but it really is such a cool park and I would love to take my family there, once the crowds die down. Check it out and get excited to experience it, cause it’s definitely something new and innovative, making Orlando even cooler and more special.

5. Summer Planning – Free Bowling for Kids

Kids bowl free

I’m definitely a planner, it’s in my nature! And I am happy to say I’ve successfully planned this summer with camps, and other summer activities already on the books, and I came across the kids bowl free program. Our bowling alley does it every summer and it’s a great way to get the kids out of the house if they need it while still staying in doors. Check it out and register your kiddos today so that you have an option to do when they get stir crazy. For us, I didn’t book camps every single week because I know the kids want some time to be lazy kids over summer, and I’m cool with that. They are of the age where I can still get work done and they are self sufficient enough. But I love having this option available when we need to get out and do something.

Fab Five Friday

Thanks for stopping by this Fab Five Friday! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Let me know in the comments anything worth sharing or highlighting from your week. Or what you are most excited about this weekend.
