Happy Friday! It has been a whirlwind of a week (two weeks actually!) There’s so much going on with life right now! The holidays are in full gear, lots of activities and events to go to, which has been a blast! We recently participated in a nighttime golf cart parade (so magical!), attended a weekend-long soccer tournament, drove to Savannah for my company’s holiday party, and went to two of our good friend’s Christmas parties. Plus, Hanukkah has been going on in our house for the past eight nights! So let’s get into the Fab Five on this Friday!
1. Gucci Bloom Perfume
I’ve posted about this before on the blog, but this Gucci Bloom perfume scent is absolutely amazing. I got a trial size of it in a Sephora order one time and have been dreaming of it ever since. It’s pretty expensive, so getting it as a gift on the first night of Hanukkah was such a treat! (Zulily has great sales on fragrances, which is where we found this at such a great price!) It’s not available there anymore, but worth checking there first for fragrances you like before paying full price. I’m so excited to wear this in the New Year!
2. Vinrella Bottle Umbrella
I came across this awesome umbrella on our trip to Savannah, and thought it was so cool! I decided to grab one and bring it home to my mom as a Hanukkah gift. Vinrella is an umbrella in an adorably designed bottle. So when your done using it, you can put the wet umbrella back in this bottle which keeps you and your belongings nice and dry! It’s really cute and easy to store and such a unique gift idea.
3. The Drowning by T.J. Newman
Our latest book club pick, The Drowning, was such a page turner! We are not meeting until January to discuss this one, since we’re all so busy through the holidays, but I had to mention it. It’s great. Very suspenseful and heart-felt—or should I say tear-jerking.
4. Stylus Brand Loungewear
One of my other favorite gifts from Hanukkah was some loungewear from Stylus. The sweatshirts are so stylish and comfortable, I could live in them. I wore one outfit on the trip to Savannah, and while it was still so cute and trendy, I couldn’t have been more comfortable. I love the matching sets, but even the neutral colors go very well together. Definitely recommend for an affordable and comfortable loungewear option.
5. Our New Family Member
And finally, this post would not be complete without introducing the newest member of our family. Michaela (a.k.a. Mickey) the hamster has joined the Johnstons. She’s still adjusting to her new home and getting more familiar with the family, so I am sure more pictures of her will come. Mickey is a very cute black and white hamster and the kids are so excited to have “a real life pet!” (Last year we did try to extend adopting a real pet by getting Reece a stuffed cat. That worked for a year.) We are all very happy with our new addition and excited to get to know her more.
Highlight of the week for sure. I hope you all have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by at today’s Fab Five Friday!
Where is Mickey. Hiding for sure! Lol
