It’s another Fab Friday and I cannot wait until this weekend. Brett was traveling all week so I am just extra exhausted. The kids started back up with all the activities golf, soccer and dance. But it’s the second week of school and so far so good! There’s definitely a lot more homework in 5th grade, we’ve already had quite a few assignments. Rylee’s been so great about keeping up with it and it’s been fun to do it together. I know it’s been a while since a Fab Five, so here’s a fun little Friday read with some favorites from the week!

1. Immortality

I finished this book a little bit ago, but never had a chance to post about it! It’s the sequel of Anatomy which I absolutely loved. Such a great extension to the story with great characters and and even better ending. I loved reading this book so much and I hope this author comes out with more! Definitely recommend!

2. Beverage Dispenser

Ok, this thing is pretty amazing! We borrowed it from a friend to host a lemonade stand last weekend and it is so cool. First, it’s huge and holds about 3 gallons of liquid, second it has an ice cylinder to help keep the drinks cold but not water it down. And bonus, there’s an ice cooler in the base keeping it cool from the bottom as well. It’s also really lightweight, so it was very easy to transport to our location. I couldn’t find this exact one online, but one very close. It’s huge, so when I can find some space to put it in my house, I’d love one for ourselves.

3. Clear Storage Boxes

I was looking for a solution in my ultra small closet for my purses because they were laying either on the ground or in one of those fabric bins and it was so unorganized, hard to find, and my bags were getting ruined. In my mind I pictured a see-through bin and when I searched online for options, this one came up from Target. When I went into the store to make sure the size and quality was going to work, I saw there were several options, with a drawer and without. So I got both to try and and I think this stacked option works perfectly in my space. I am super happy with it so far. Neat and organized!

4. Easy Baked Salmon Dinner

Easy 5 Ingredient Keto Salmon Recipe 5_Feature

I love when a go to recipe just works out flawlessly during a busy and hectic week. With Brett out, I had to think of every dinner and cook it myself, ah! This go to is one of my favorites and it’s so easy to make. I added rice as a side for the kids and they devoured it. Even the brussels sprouts!

5. Nike Training Club Running Plan

It’s official! I am training for a half marathon. The Nike+ Running app has training plans built out already for all different types of distances. I chose the half marathon option and put in my race date and it created a plan just for me. Everything is tracked in the app, the weekly schedule, types of runs and it tracks your progress. There are even guided runs with coaches to help you through speed runs. It’s pretty fun! The only thing I have to worry about now, is how to fit in my runs between work, school and after school activities. Still trying to figure that one out and get to a good routine, but I am on my way!

Thanks for stopping by on this Fab Five Friday! Have a great weekend!
