Fab Five Friday #31

It’s Fab Five Friday! And a special Friday before Spring Break for us. Of course it’s been another busy week, but I love being able to finish up the week on the blog and share some favorites. Because I have spring on the mind, and currently trying to pack for vacation, I was reminded of some of my past Fab Fives that are still ones I use and love, and I wanted to includes those in today’s post for all of you also feeling the spring vibes. (Sorry for all my northern friends and family in the snow! But I hope this gets you excited for when Spring comes for you!) Here are my Fab Five Friday picks for this week!

1. The Testaments Audiobook

We just finished Daisy Jones and the Six (and watched the first episode of the show on Amazon!) and we are ready for the next one. The book club girls picked The Testaments, by Margaret Atwood. As you know, we are all obsessed with The Handmaid’s Tale, and this is the sequel. I have been reading physical books lately, but when I heard that Ann Dowd, the actress who plays Aunt Lydia, reads her part in The Testaments, I was all a go on the audiobook version. So far it’s been really good and it gives me something to look forward to on afternoon walks.

2. The Best Hat Ever

I absolutely love this hat! It looks so great on and is super comfortable. And the best part is, I’ve worn it in the pool and in the beach and it keeps its shape. So it’s super durable and great for beach vacations. I could not live without this hat and recommend it for sure!

3. Hawaiian Tropic Weightless Face Sunscreen

I’ve been using this sunscreen for the face for a while and I love how light it is. It’s moisturizing, doesn’t turn your face white, and gives you a pretty glow. I haven’t burned when I reapply throughout the day, so I really like it.

4. Bogg Bag

I definitely swear by this bag when it comes to pool and beach trips. It fits a ton of stuff, and I never have to worry about the kids throwing in their wet bathing suits or goggles in it because it’s completely waterproof. The Bogg Bag also stands up straight no matter what, so it’s easy to find what you are looking for. It comes with a clear bag that attaches to the holes for wallets, keys and phones to keep them dry. And when beach time is over, it’s easy to clean the sand out by spraying down.

5. Chelle Tinted Moisturizer

Usually on a beach vacay or day out and about, I don’t put on makeup, but instead use this tinted moisturizer. It’s really light and gives good coverage. Plus the SPF 50 helps protect against the hot sun. I have a stash of this for when I run out! 🙂

6. Big Fun Earrings

And heck, why not Fab 6 since I am feeling really excited about Spring Break! I recently found out that I love how big earrings look with a swimsuit. Especially when I am by the pool or beach and my hair is up, it’s a fun look since I don’t love how I look with my hair pulled back, ha! But the earrings I think make it look really cute.
