So, last night I decided to try a thing. It’s usually at night when I feel the most motivated to blog and think up all kinds of amazing content to share. Why is it that the second my head hits the pillow, lightbulbs are going off and all I want to do is write? There is so much I want to say, and so little time to actually say it! I spend a lot of time on my blog posts, from researching to photo editing, sometimes it takes weeks! And I love how they come out, but sometimes, I just want to write in the moment.
What would happen if I wrote my thoughts and actual experiences in my daily life? I thought I would try something different and post 1 blog post a day this week and see how it goes. Short and sweet in about 150 words or less. Sharing my thoughts and experiences, and hopefully some inspiration. So here it goes!
Yesterday was the second week of summer camp for the kids. Rylee went to theater camp and Reece went to Rock Band camp. It just so happened that the week they are at two different locations, Brett had to go in the field. We’d originally planned to split the drop off/pickups, so the shuffling of children was very interesting in between meetings.
For dinner I made Steak with homemade Chimichurri—the kids loved the steak, although they wouldn’t try “the green stuff.” More for me.
I didn’t make it to the gym but did complete day 7 of my 30 day Full Body Fitness Challenge (more to come on this later.)
An exciting thing I am in the process of at home is finishing up Rylee’s room—we got her a new desk and it’s really making the room feel like a completely new space. Slowly but surely, it’s coming along!
Questions of the day:
- What do you enjoy reading most on my blog? What would you want to see more of?
- What summer camps or vacations have you planned this year?
